Squizzy Taylor Aussie Lobster Man Ginger Rum

A limited & unique Rum release with Squizzy Taylor Aussie Lobster Man.

This Rum matured on the 'Bold Contender', on the rough seas off the south coast of Tasmania. The barrel drenched with sea water crashing over the bow of the boat, with the Rum inside the barrel churning and moving with each and every wave.

This 20L barrel initially held Bourbon. The Rum spirit at 60% ABV was first matured in a barrel used for holding alcoholic ginger beer, we then moved the Rum into this Bourbon barrel for its journey with Squizzy on the Bold Contender while fishing for Lobster.

You will enjoy the soft sweet taste of world award winning Island Coast Rum, a hint of Bourbon characteristics and a zesty tingle of ginger beer - with perhaps a taste of sea salt.

In 700ml bottles at 40% ABV and only 40 bottles available at $149 per bottle.

To bring the Rum from 60% to 40% ABV we use pristine Tasmanian rainwater.
