Our Island Coast Spirits Rum stout cask. Finished in one of our 50L bourbon barrels which had housed Hopfields Brewery stout for 6-months.
Our world Silver Medal winning Rum with the typical ex-Bourbon cask Rum notes of brown sugar and vanilla. Combining beautifully with Hopfields Brewery stout characteristics of rich, roasted malt flavours, delivering a delightful mix of dark chocolate, coffee, and a touch of caramel.
Hopfields Stout is a big cozy hug of velvety smoothness married perfectly with our Rum.
In 700ml bottles at 40% ABV and only 65 bottles available at $135 per bottle.
Once matured and to bring the Rum from 65% to 40% ABV we use pristine Tasmanian rainwater.
