Squizzy Taylor special whisky release

13th of July update. The barrel is now off Squizzy's boat and has been decanted to rest. It's sitting at 62% ABV and we'll soon add pristine Tasmanian rainwater and filter down to bottle strength at 46% ABV.

Our special Squizzy Taylor limited edition Whisky release. A 30L single malt single cask release from an ex French Oak Pedro Ximénez (PX) barrel. Maturing in PX casks gives the whisky an extra sherry sweetness. It also has aromas of sultanas and dried fruits and a syrupy smoothness, with a little hint of caramel & honey. 

This special barrel has completed its time maturing on Squizzy's vessel, The Bold Contender. Enjoying its time on the rough seas off the south coast of Tasmania.

Limited to only 55 bottles. Individually numbered bottles and signed by Squizzy. At 46% ABV in 700ml bottles. ETA release end of July.
